Shannon Melendi, a 19-year-old sophomore at Emory University, went missing on March 26, 1994, from Atlanta, Georgia. She was last seen working as a scorekeeper at a local softball field, the Softball Country Club, where she took a lunch break and was never seen again. Her car was later found abandoned at a nearby gas station, unlocked with the keys still in the ignition. Foul play was suspected from the beginning, but for years, the case remained unsolved.
