Dale Leary, a 21-year-old man from Hemingway, South Carolina, was last seen on September 1, 1999, at a family member's residence near Carvers Bay Road. Following his disappearance, there was an unconfirmed sighting of Dale in Georgia in October 1999, but he has not been seen or heard from since. His gray 1999 Oldsmobile Alero coupe was later found abandoned at an apartment complex in Daytona Beach, Florida, adding to the mystery surrounding his case.
