Elizabeth Forshee-Syperda, a 22-year-old woman from Mount Pleasant, Iowa, was last seen on the evening of July 16, 2000. Her roommate reported seeing her around 10:30 p.m. before leaving for work. By the time the roommate returned early the next morning, Elizabeth was gone, and all her personal belongings, including her last paycheck, remained untouched.
