Gladis Mophecha, a 56-year-old woman, was found deceased in her home in San Tan Valley, Arizona, on April 14, 2021. The discovery was made by a friend who visited her residence on Allens Peak Dr.

The investigation into her death led authorities to identify her adult son, 29-year-old Taboh Mopecha, as the suspect. Taboh Mopecha was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with his mother's death.
