Matthew David Pendergrast, a 23-year-old Rhodes College student in Memphis, Tennessee, disappeared on December 1, 2000. He was just two weeks away from graduating. On the morning of his disappearance, Matthew left his residence between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., intending to attend his Spanish class, which was only four blocks away. He never arrived.
