On a spring morning in 2001, a 45-year-old woman named Rhonda Bea Beers was seen on foot in Lansing, Michigan, and then seemingly vanished. It was approximately 11:30 a.m. on May 15, 2001, when she was last spotted near the intersection of Kalamazoo Street and Francis Street. In the moments before she disappeared, there were no apparent signs of distress and no indications of where she might have been heading.
