Sharon Davis, a 51-year-old schoolteacher, went missing on June 13, 2001, from Dallas, Texas. On that morning, she dropped her daughter off at a Dallas area Park and Ride and mentioned she was heading home to prepare for a scheduled appointment. Sharon never arrived at her destination and has not been seen since. Five days later, her green 1998 Mercury Villager was found abandoned in a fitness center parking lot, with a broken window and wiped clean of fingerprints.
At the time of her disappearance, Sharon had recently filed for divorce from her husband, Ron Davis, just two days prior, citing concerns for her safety. She had even told family members about threats made by her husband, leading her loved ones to check on her frequently. Ron Davis, however, was uncooperative with the police investigation in the immediate aftermath of her disappearance.
