Jason Anthony Franks, 21, was last seen on August 9, 2001, while camping near the Klamath River, close to the Chiloquin, Oregon, area. On the day of his disappearance, Franks was left alone at the campsite when his friends went into town. Upon their return, Franks was missing, and he has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of his disappearance, he was a resident of Alturas, California.
