In the summer of 2001, a camping trip in the scenic area near Chiloquin, Oregon, took a bewildering turn with the disappearance of 21-year-old Jason Anthony Franks. On August 10th of that year, the young man from Alturas, California, vanished without a trace from a campsite he was sharing with friends.
