Kenya Hickson, a 28-year-old woman, went missing on August 14, 2001, after she was last seen leaving her residence in Newark, New Jersey. She was accompanied by a female acquaintance known only as "Cynth." Kenya, who also went by the street name "Boo Boo," was reported to frequent certain areas in Newark and Irvington, including 20th Street, Nye Avenue, and Ells Avenue.
