Anita Middleton Richardson, 24, was last seen on August 15, 2003, at the Churchill Apartments in Columbia, South Carolina. Her sister reported her missing on October 10, 2003, after Anita had not been heard from for nearly two months. At the time, Anita was living with her husband, but following her disappearance, he left their apartment, leaving behind her belongings, including her clothes, a refrigerator full of food, and furniture.
