Kathy Sue Haskell, aged 41, was last seen on October 16, 2003, at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas. On that night, she told her husband that she was feeling stressed about financial issues and her weight and decided to leave for a while to "unwind." Kathy never returned, and the next day, her husband reported her missing after discovering her car, a burgundy Dodge Caravan, abandoned on a beach south of Bob Hall Pier.
