Ebarb was reportedly in the 21000 block of Countryside Road, near FM 1960 East, where he had gone to collect money from someone he knew. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt or tank top, jean shorts, and brown leather sandals. Notably, Ebarb had distinctive tattoos, including a Betty Boop character on his upper left arm and various crosses, as well as names on his body.
The day after his disappearance, his vehicle was found abandoned and burned on Huffman Road in nearby Huffman, Texas, raising immediate concerns of foul play. Ebarb was married with three children and lived in Spring, Texas, at the time. Despite ongoing efforts by law enforcement and volunteer organizations, including searches led by Texas EquuSearch, no trace of him has been found since.
