Tara Grinstead, a 30-year-old high school history teacher from Ocilla, Georgia, was last seen on the evening of October 22, 2005. Grinstead, a former beauty queen, had spent that day helping contestants at a local beauty pageant and later attended a cookout. She returned home that evening, but the next morning, she failed to attend church and did not show up for work on Monday, October 24, leading to her being reported missing.
