On a spring morning in 2006, 46-year-old Lonnett Myer Jackson was last seen at her home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 11th when she disappeared from her residence in the vicinity of the 5100 block of Chaplain Way in the city's Hazelwood neighborhood. At the time she went missing, Lonnett was described as a Black female with graying black hair and brown eyes. She stood between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-6 and weighed around 192 pounds. Lonnett had several distinguishing features, including pierced ears, a scar on the right side of her head near her hairline, and a linear scar on her lower abdomen from a Cesarean section. The clothing she was last seen wearing consisted of a white undershirt, a black sleeveless hooded jacket, dark blue warm-up pants, and white athletic shoes. The circumstances surrounding Lonnett's disappearance raised immediate concern among her family and investigators. When she left her home, she took her identification and Social Security card but left behind her cell phone, keys, and money. Her family was particularly worried because she had a medical condition that required medication, which she did not take with her. Lonnett, who was also known by the nicknames Nett and Tootsie, suffered from severe depression and had a history of threatening suicide. This led investigators to believe she was at grave risk, with concerns that she may have taken an overdose of pain medication before her disappearance. Years have passed since Lonnett Myer Jackson was last seen, and her case remains unsolved. The lack of significant leads has left her family with unanswered questions and a profound sense of loss. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Missing Persons Unit has been handling her case from the beginning, but despite their efforts, there has been no trace of Lonnett. Her case serves as a somber reminder of the many individuals who vanish without a clear explanation, leaving their loved ones in a state of perpetual uncertainty. The overview of the case is one of a vulnerable adult who disappeared under troubling circumstances, with her known mental health struggles being a primary cause for concern. Without any further evidence or contact, the trail has gone cold, and her whereabouts are still unknown.
