John Wade Wagner, a 16-year-old from Monroe City, Missouri, was last seen on the evening of February 17, 1968. He had dropped his younger brother off at a school dance at approximately 8:00 p.m. but never returned to pick him up. The following day, John's truck was found abandoned in an alley off Main Street in Monroe City. Inside the vehicle, his keys, gloves, and coat were discovered, but there was no sign of John.
