Phyllis Eleanor Berry, a 21-year-old Chickasaw woman, was last seen on November 1, 1975, in Terlingua, Texas, during the annual World Championship Chili Cook-Off. She had traveled from Odessa, Texas, with her roommate to camp out and attend the event, which drew a crowd of 10,000 to 15,000 people.
