Judith Anne Brown, a 19-year-old from Queens, New York, was last seen on April 6, 1977. At the time of her disappearance, Judith was living with her aunt in Queens and receiving outpatient care for mental health issues after having been briefly admitted to the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center the previous year. It was at Creedmoor where she met Richard E. Reisenberg, a patient with a violent past.
