On a warm evening in Kentucky, 31-year-old Sandra 'Sandy' Fisher disappeared after attending the Russell County Fair. She was last seen at the fairgrounds at approximately 10:00 p.m. on August 3, 1978. Earlier that evening, Sandra, a mother of two, had arranged for a friend to look after her children so she could enjoy a night out with her own friends at the fair.
