The chase came to an end when the friend and Amber abandoned the vehicle and ran into a nearby wooded area. Amber's mother, who remained in the car, recounted this series of events to the police who searched the woods but were unable to find any trace of Amber or her companion.

These tattoos included angel wings with the name "Breanah" on the back of her neck, the word "Daddy" on her inner left wrist, "Mommy" on her inner right wrist, and the text "Mrs. LA" on the upper right side of her neck.
