In the spring of 2011, a 42-year-old woman named Shelly Kay Schoffner vanished, leaving behind a trail of conflicting stories and unanswered questions. Originally from Delphos, Ohio, Shelly had traveled to Berea, Kentucky, on March 14, 2011, to visit her boyfriend, Jeff Green. Her son had driven her there, and the last communication he had with his mother was a text message from her on March 19.
