Gayla Christine Schaper, age 28, was last seen on June 29, 1979, in Moscow, Idaho. On that day, her husband dropped her off at a pasture near their dairy farm on Lenville Road so she could feed their horses. He left to run errands and planned to return in about 45 minutes, but when he did, Gayla was gone. Initially assuming she had gone to visit her parents nearby, her husband searched the farm and surrounding areas before reporting her missing at midnight. Some of Gayla's clothing was late ...
