On March 5, 1981, 30-year-old Anna Therese Ciaccio was spending the night at her brother's home in Papillion, Nebraska. At some point, she vanished from the residence, leaving behind personal items that would have been essential for anyone planning to be away for an extended period, including her winter coat and her wallet.
