William Charles Cordes, aged 15, disappeared on March 30, 1984, from Auburn, California. At the time, William was residing in a group home, The Children's Home Society, as part of his sentence for stealing beer. On the night of his disappearance, William and some other boys from the group home snuck out to attend a party in a nearby town.
