His mother briefly went inside to answer a phone call, and when she returned just minutes later, Sean was gone. The ball he had been playing with was found near the bank of the Black River, which flowed behind their home.
Police believe it is possible that Sean may have fallen into the river, but despite extensive searches of the area, his body was never recovered.
