On the afternoon of Saturday, March 30, 1985, 57-year-old George Robert Miles was at his place of employment, Carlton Massey Ford, on Route 13 in Pocomoke City, Maryland. At approximately 2:00 p.m., he informed his coworkers that he was going into the town of Pocomoke and would be back in a few minutes.
