Theresa Ann Bier was a 16-year-old girl who disappeared on June 1, 1987, from Fresno, California. At the time of her disappearance, she was living with her uncle in Fresno after a tumultuous upbringing, having been removed from her biological parents. On the day she went missing, Theresa planned to skip school to go camping in the Sierra Nevada mountains with a 43-year-old man named Russell "Skip" Welch, who had developed an obsession with Bigfoot.
