Brian Eric Carlstrom, age 26, was last seen on August 9, 1986, in Helendale, California, while staying at a friend's residence in the Silver Lakes community. A resident of Colton, California, Carlstrom had planned to drive to Las Vegas that morning. There was a potential sighting of him later that day at the Saddle West Casino in Pahrump, Nevada. However, Carlstrom never reached his destination, and no further contact was made.
