In the summer of 1988, a young man named Thomas Allen Hanson, also known as Tom, vanished from his home in Waipahu, Hawaii. On August 1st, between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., the 27-year-old left his residence and was never seen or heard from again.
