In the summer of 1988, a young man named Thomas Allen Hanson, also known as Tom, vanished from his home in Waipahu, Hawaii. On August 1st, between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., the 27-year-old left his residence and was never seen or heard from again. At the time he went missing, he was described as an Asian male with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing between 165 and 190 pounds.
