Michael Bennett, 14, went missing on June 21, 1989, alongside his sister Monica, 15, in Brunswick, Georgia. The two siblings were last seen at the Heritage Apartments on Altama Avenue, where they reportedly visited their aunt before disappearing. They had been staying with different relatives following their parents' separation—Michael with his stepfather's first wife and Monica with her biological father.
