On the night of April 4, 1991, 20-year-old Angela 'Angie' Hammond, who was four months pregnant, vanished from a payphone in Clinton, Missouri. She was on the phone with her fiancé, Rob Shafer, around 11:15 p.m. from a parking lot at the Food Barn Store. During their conversation, she described a suspicious man in an older model two-tone green Ford pickup truck that was circling the block.
