Summary based on the NamUs case record (MP2985) and 3 other sources
Nickolas Pogoneys, 54, was last seen on December 1, 1993, in Apple Valley, California. On that day, he was driving a friend's car, which was later found abandoned in Las Vegas, Nevada. The vehicle was in good condition, had fuel, and contained all of Pogoneys' personal belongings, including his dentures. However, the car keys were missing, and there was no sign of Pogoneys.

Nickolas, a Caucasian male, stood 5'7" tall and weighed about 185 pounds at the time of his disappearance. He had graying brown hair and brown eyes. He also had shrapnel scars on both feet from a previous injury, and most of his teeth were missing, for which he wore dentures.

Despite efforts by authorities, no significant leads have emerged, and the case remains unsolved. Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department continue to seek any information related to his whereabouts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the authorities.
