Joyce Lynn Dupont, a 25-year-old woman, went missing on September 8, 1994, from Lake Charles, Louisiana. That day, she left her child in the care of her sister, intending to catch a bus at the corner of Bank and Broad Streets to go to the Housing Authority. Joyce never arrived at her destination and was never heard from again. Described as responsible, her family and authorities do not believe she would have left her child voluntarily.
