Kawana Lashan Holmes, a 21-year-old mother of three, was last seen in West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 1, 1996. Holmes had a transient lifestyle and used her mother's address in Jacksonville, where her children lived at the time. Before her disappearance, Kawana had been arrested on drug and prostitution charges in February 1996 in Duval County, with her last known activity occurring on February 28 of that year.
