Jamie Ellen Pankey, 40, disappeared on October 1, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri. On the day of her disappearance, she contacted the Kansas City Police to report a robbery. After officers arrived, Pankey identified the suspect, who was subsequently arrested. This marked the last known contact with her, and she has not been seen since. Pankey's family, who had little regular contact with her due to her lifestyle, did not report her missing until January 1998, over a year later.
