Brenwanda Smith, a 24-year-old SEPTA bus driver, disappeared on February 18, 1997, under mysterious circumstances. She had reported to work at 4:00 a.m. that day and was involved in a minor traffic accident at noon, which required her to return to the SEPTA Luzerne depot in Philadelphia.
