On the day she vanished, Kristen finished her shift at Spinelli's Coffee in the Crocker Galleria around 3 p.m. She told her coworkers she planned to visit Baker Beach that afternoon.
However, Kristen never returned home, and her roommates grew concerned when she didn’t show up for the night. She was reported missing on June 25.
The investigation into her disappearance uncovered limited clues. Surveillance footage from the Crocker Galleria showed Kristen leaving the building, but no further leads surfaced regarding her movements afterward. Several witnesses reported seeing her with an unidentified woman at a nearby location, but these leads did not provide substantial breakthroughs. Searches of areas she was believed to have visited, including Baker Beach, yielded no results.
