William Sky Weinischke, a 19-year-old from Los Angeles, California, was last seen on November 1, 1997. Prior to his disappearance, Weinischke had traveled to Mexicali, Mexico, with friends and family, and had also spent time in San Diego. He was planning to return to San Diego to attend an appointment at the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain his California driver's license, which was scheduled around November 5 to November 7, 1997.
However, he never made it to the appointment and was not heard from again.
Weinischke, who may go by his middle name "Sky" or "Scott," had distinct features that could make him appear Hispanic, Asian, or Native American. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and was 5'9" tall, weighing between 155 and 160 pounds. He also had several distinguishing marks, including a scar on his left eyebrow, a large freckle on his right earlobe, and a metal pin surgically implanted in his left hip.
Despite efforts to locate him, the circumstances surrounding Weinischke’s disappearance remain unclear. His case is still open, and authorities encourage anyone with information to come forward.Last Seen: Nov 5, 1997
