Timeka Donyale Pridgen, a 16-year-old girl, was last seen on May 12, 2001, at her home in La Grange, North Carolina. On that evening, her mother, Cosandra Best, had a phone conversation with her boyfriend, Eric Earl Mercer Moore, who said he would arrive at her home in five minutes.
