Mauro Elias Escobar, a 21-year-old from Houston, Texas, was last seen on April 16, 2004, at a Wendy’s restaurant in the Greenspoint Mall area. He was with two companions, Jose Guadalupe Gonzalez and Silvia Perez. The group was traveling in a blue or gray 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was later found abandoned and stripped in a wrecking yard in Humble, Texas, a few days after their disappearance.
