That morning, Tiffany left home to walk to her school, Shiprock Northwest High School, but she never arrived. At the time of her disappearance, she was carrying a black backpack and a purse with her nickname, "Kay-C," printed on it. Despite previous incidents where she had run away but always returned, her mother did not report her missing until a week later, thinking Tiffany
would return on her own. However, after two weeks, some of Tiffany’s belongings, including her purse and makeup bag, were found scattered in a well-known party area near Sweetwater, Arizona, but no further traces of her were discovered.
Tiffany's case was initially treated as a runaway, with authorities suggesting she might have traveled to Arizona or even Mexico. Despite this, no confirmed sightings or new information about her whereabouts have emerged in the nearly two decades since her disappearance. Her family, including her sister, continues to search for answers, and Tiffany remains missing.
