Thomas Randall Hedgecock, age 51, was last seen on May 24, 2004, when he left his home in Filer, Idaho, around 10:30 p.m. to attend a barbecue. Hedgecock never returned home. A week later, on May 31, his brown and beige 1982 Dodge pickup truck was discovered wrecked at the bottom of an embankment near the Snake River, between Filer and Wendell, Idaho. The vehicle had sustained significant damage, but there were no signs of injury, blood, or footprints around the crash site.
