Robert Duerr, a 53-year-old man from Waterford, Connecticut, was last seen on January 15, 2005, at the Fountainview Care Center, where he was receiving treatment for his diabetes. He was reported missing in the early hours of that morning after he apparently walked away from the facility around 1:00 a.m. Despite the cold weather, Duerr was not dressed appropriately, wearing only a black leather jacket, a blue sweatshirt, and gray sweatpants.
