Reachelle Smith, a 3-year-old girl from Minot, North Dakota, was last seen on the night of May 16, 2006, sleeping on the couch at her aunt and legal guardian’s home. The following morning, Reachelle was missing, and Leigh Cowen, a family friend living in the house, told her aunt that his mother had taken Reachelle and would return her in a few days.
