Eric Thruelson, a 54-year-old man from Willington, Connecticut, was last seen on October 7, 2008. He was reported missing by his family on October 9 after leaving his apartment on Burt Latham Road. Thruelson had a medical condition and was described as possibly despondent at the time of his disappearance. Prior to going missing, he mailed letters to several people, and authorities believe he may have traveled toward the Eastern Connecticut shoreline.
