Scott Andreas Sims, also known as Andy, was an 11-year-old boy who went missing on December 9, 1961, from Wichita Falls, Texas. That afternoon, Scott was at home with his older brother in the 4600 block of Stanford Avenue. He went outside to play sometime between 12:45 and 1:00 p.m. His mother returned home at 2:30 p.m. and found that Scott was missing. After searching for several hours, the family reported him missing to the police that evening.
