Edward Maps, a 39-year-old man from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, disappeared on June 21, 1962, under highly suspicious circumstances. Earlier that year, on January 21, 1962, his wife Christine and their four-month-old daughter Julie Louise were found in their home, which had been set on fire. Christine had been bludgeoned, and Julie died from smoke inhalation. Edward, however, was nowhere to be found.
