In the early winter of 2008, a family in Washington County, Pennsylvania, began to worry. Michael Stephen King, a 52-year-old man, had not been heard from since Wednesday, December 3rd. It was not like him to be out of touch, and as the days turned into a week, concern grew into a heavy sense of unease.
