Amy Billig, a 17-year-old girl, was last seen on March 5, 1974, hitchhiking near her home in Coconut Grove, Florida. She was on her way to meet her father at his art gallery but never arrived, and no one has seen or heard from her since. Amy had a two-inch appendectomy scar on her abdomen and was wearing a denim miniskirt and cork platform sandals when she disappeared.
