Teresa "Bunny" Fittin, an 18-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was last seen on August 1, 1975. On that day, she left her apartment after an argument with her boyfriend, saying she needed to calm down and was heading to her car. Teresa drove away in a gray-green 1964 Nash Rambler and was never seen again. Ten days later, her wallet was found in a local library, but her car has never been recovered. At the time of her disappearance, Teresa left behind $300 on her dresser and all her personal belongings. She was also reportedly six weeks pregnant, though this was not confirmed by her family.

Teresa, who had dreams of becoming an oceanographer or an artist, was a senior at Stranahan High School and worked as a server at a beachfront hotel. Her sudden disappearance without any financial activity or communication has led authorities to suspect foul play. While it's possible she may have traveled to Tennessee, Colorado, or Pennsylvania, investigators believe that something more sinister occurred, and her case is being treated as a suspected homicide.

Despite the passage of time, Teresa's family continues to seek answers, and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department remains involved in the investigation.
