Nelida De Jesus Del Valle, a 9-year-old girl, disappeared on December 20, 1976, while walking to her school, William Blackstone Elementary, located just a block and a half from her home in Boston, Massachusetts. Despite her shy nature and distrust of strangers, Nelida never made it to school and has not been seen since.
